Founded in 2004 and based at POSK (The Polish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith), The Polish Stage
Company.UK is renowned for its brilliant and inventive productions of Polish drama and poetry.
POLISH SPECIALITIES is a unique form of cabaret blending together poetry and music, satirical
sketches and songs, all based on works of the foremost polish poets and composers. The title of the
cabaret is a pun on name of the popular network of Polish delicatessen, but it also conveys qualities
of our national character. Humour, satire and song have sustained us throughout our history in the
best and the worst of times.
The program is accompanied by a commentary in English and can be enjoyed by all.
